Pelun headed design at high‑growth startups Bird and Dollar Shave Club, providing strategic design leadership and end‑to‑end creative execution across physical and digital products, brand, content, and experiential spaces.
At Bird, he created flagship electric vehicles and developed a line of consumer products to modernize movement for people and cities. He was central in helping Bird scale to 450+ cities globally from Series B through IPO.
At Dollar Shave Club, Pelun transformed the emerging razor subscription service into a trusted men's lifestyle brand with a comprehensive suite of grooming products for body and mind — resulting in a successful acquisition by Unilever for $1B.
Prior to joining both startups, he directed the design of digital products and experiences at agencies for Fortune 500 companies American Express, Target, Volkswagen, and Nike.
He led the design of Nike OS — a global brand platform uniting multiple sports categories with a singular commerce and content-enabled UX. Nike OS powered digital storefronts worldwide for over five years.
A RISD alum, his work is patented as well as published across The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Bloomberg Businessweek, TechCrunch, Fast Company, Dezeen, D&AD, Cannes, IDSA, and Taschen Books.
Rooted in curiosity and craft, Pelun enjoys driving and shaping startups that move people, businesses, and teams — by design.
